Sean Finn
Founding Partner at SBS and F3 & Associates
Sean Finn has worked in heavy industrial construction for 25+ years and places safety at the heart of a project success. Sean’s Land Surveying and Utility Locating experience includes prestigious construction projects, such as the Skyway Project on the New Bay Bridge in Oakland, California, and the New Memorial Stadium at the University of California, Berkeley.
Leveraging his insights from working in petrochemical plants, Sean instills a “Safety Is A Value” ethos in all projects under his supervision, both within and outside energy plants. His extensive experience in complex construction projects underscores his unwavering commitment to safety as a fundamental pillar in achieving successful outcomes. This is what drove Sean to be a founding partner in SBS who’s vision is to help organizations measure safety beyond the bottom line.
Rick Morgan
Senior Safety Consultant
Rick Morgan has over 35+ years in the Industrial/Commercial fields specializing in occupational health and safety. Rick believes safety is a core value and is dedicated to assist his clients and teammates in achieving a culture of safety excellence.
His experiences include working as the refinery safety manager at the Benicia Valero refinery for 10 years where he was instrumental in helping them achieve their OSHA VPP Star Certification and 5 years as Regional Safety Manager (West Coast) at Brand Safway scaffolding. Rick’s philosophy revolves around treating safety as if your loved ones were working alongside you, ensuring everyone’s safe return.
Paul Rivas
Operations Manager
Paul Rivas has over 20 years’ experience in industrial construction and maintenance, with over 15 of those years in safety management. He began his career as a laborer, before discovering a passion for training new employees and safety compliance in the field. Paul oversaw safety for TIMEC, Brinderson and Schultz on capital projects, daily maintenance and turnarounds, as well as developing safety procedures and overseeing safety management for the region.
Paul continues his passion for safety at SBS by providing qualified safety professionals to projects in Northern and Southern California, as well as training and consulting for small businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area.
